Day One
In the morning, your professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel or anywhere you decide in Luxor by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to explore Luxor East Bank including: Karnak Temple The great Karnak temple complex is a great open-air museum that acted as the capital for the religious worship of the deities in Upper Egypt starting from 2055 BC until the Ptolemaic era in 100 AD. It holds the biggest collection in the world of ancient Egyptian temples and statues. You will be taken to 5* deluxe Nile cruise to check-in and have your lunch on board then stay relaxed at your cabin and by the evening, you will be taken to visit: Luxor Temple by Night The ancient Egyptian home of celebration was created in 1400 BC during the reign of Amenhotep III & completed by Ramses II, the famous home of the festival of Opet to honor the pharaohs' powers of divinity and only the heavenly moon of the night able to reveal its beauty and ancient secrets. Return and overnight onboard the cruise.
Day Two
Breakfast on board then you will be accompanied to discover the sites of the West Bank including: Valley of the Kings During the New Kingdom (1570-1070 BC), the ancient royalty seeks to immortalize their names and pass through the afterlife so 20 royal tombs filled with golden treasures & artifacts, and enchanting decorations came to be right next to their mummies such as Rameses VI, Amenhotep I, Seti I, Tutankhamun and more in the Valley of the Kings. Hatshepsut Temple One of the intoxicating architectural creations of the ancient Egyptian empire is the Hatshepsut temple which exhibits the importance of Queen Hatshepsut (1507-1458 BC). The design of the temple is a true piece of art constructed in the style of classical architecture of the New Kingdom. Colossi of Memnon The Colossi of Memnon was constructed by Pharaoh Amenhotep III (1386-1350) in Cairo then it was moved to be at the entrance of Luxor city standing 18 m (60ft) tall weighing 720 tons each. Back to the cruise ship for a lovely lunch meal on board and start sailing while you are spending the night on the cruise.
Day Three
Breakfast on board then your Egyptologist will escort you to stroll through Edfu temple by a horse carriage: Edfu Temple The temple of Edfu is one of the few temples ever built in the history of Egypt between 237 BC & 57 BC in the Ptolemaic era to be the official home of the sky god Horus which merges the Greek and ancient Egyptian architectural design in the most captivating way. Enjoy a delicious lunch meal on the cruise while cruising to Kom Ombo and once you arrive, you will be guided by a modern A/C car to: Kom Ombo Temple The one-of-a-kind double temple of Kom Ombo house of the crocodile god is located across the Nile bank constructed in the Greco-Roman period between 205 BC & 180 BC. Back to the cruise, continue sailing to Aswan, and overnight on board.
Day Four
Breakfast boxes then you will begin an early morning trip to Abu Simbel by a modern A/C vehicle, guided by your tour guide and witness: Abu Simbel Temples The two temples of Abu Simbel were created by Ramses II (1292-1186 BC); the first one is the bigger one which was created to honor Amun and to be the center for the sun festival that occurs annually on the 22 of February and October as for the second time it is dedicated for his queen wife Nefertari. We will drive you back to the Nile cruise to have lunch and overnight on board.
Day Five
Breakfast on the cruise then checks out before you will go for a guided trip among Aswan's monumental spots including: Aswan High Dam Between 1960 & 1970, a powerful Aswan high dam was created to control the Nile floods, provide increased water storage for irrigation, and generate huge amounts of electricity. The Unfinished Obelisk Destined to stand at the entrance of Karnak temple by an order from Queen Hatshepsut but unfortunately, cracked during construction. It is 42 m tall, weighs 1200 tons, and is able to reveal how ancient Egyptian craftsmanship was performed. Lunch will be served at a good quality restaurant then move to explore: Philae Temple The legendary home of the goddess of motherhood, healing Isis wife of Osiris the ruler of the underworld, Philae temple was constructed between 380 BC and 362 BC by King Ptolemy II to showcase an ancient tale. Finally, we will transfer you to your hotel or anywhere you decide in Aswan.
